Agencja Nasienna Sp. z o.o. – (The Seed Agency) was created in 2003 by the Polish Plant Growing Institution and serves as its representative in seed turnover monitoring. Its main priorities are: monitoring licensed plantations and seeds and organizing and developing the licensed seed turnover on the Polish market.

Polska Izba Nasienna – (Polish Seed Trade Association) was created in 1996. Its priority is to continue the traditions of the Polish Growers and Seed Producers’ Association and develop cooperation between people involved in plant growing, production and seed trade. The Association protects and represents its members in relations with state institutions and Polish and foreign organisations. It represents interests of 84 business entities.

Agencja Restrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa –  (The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture) was created in 1994 in order to support the development of agriculture and rural areas. It has been designated by the Polish Government to function as an accredited paying agency. It deals with the implementation of instruments co-financed from the European Union budget and provides aid from state funds. The Agency, as the executor of the agricultural policy, cooperates with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Agencja Rynku Rolnego – (The Agricultural Market Agency) acts as an accredited paying agency since Poland’s accession to the European Union. It administers the implementation of both measures under the Common Agricultural Policy and those paid for from the state budget. Among its financial instruments are subsidies to seeds for the farmers.

Państwowa Inspekcja Ochrony Roślin i Nasiennictwa – (Main Inspectorate of Plant Health and Seed Inspection). One of its main objectives is to carry out: phytosanitary analysis; plant material analysis including seed analysis conducted to detect genetic modifications; analysis verifying the variety identity.
